sorry. i don’t have anything to SAY lately.

i’m making a mix tape that rivals the g@rden state soundtrack. not quite as good, but almost. i know. but i only have 10 songs. any suggestions in that same genre? mix tapes are serious business for me, and it take me weeks to do just one.

  1. check out devon sproule… she is on my homegrown garden soundtrack… you might have to share when you are done…

hey sweetie. hope you guys are doing well.

I am loving Eames Era a LOT right now.

Hope you share your final mix list.

  3. yup, another sara Says:

No suggestions, but I do hope you share the playlist when you’re done!

  4. Hey, Devon is from here in VA – I second her. She’s also very cute in addition to being a good musician.
Good mix tapes are the best.

Coming out of lurker-dom to suggest: Breathe Me – Sia; This Years Love – David Gray; Fear You Won’t Fall – Josh Radin, or pretty much anything by Josh Radin.

Your kids are adorable. Hi 🙂 Been reading for a few months now. Hang in there…it’s just a speed bump.

Yes, Mixtapes are very serious business. I would second Devon Sproule and Joshua Radin. Also try Kris Delmhorst, Annabelle Chvostek, The Wailin’ Jennys, or Rose Cousins, if you’re into really good female singer-songwriter stuff.

At the risk of appearing to blatently self-promote, I have various links to other great music at my web sites and a blog I contribute to,

Good luck. Post a track listing when you’re done. 🙂
