It is now the size of a blueberry and I think I love it. September 14, 2007

This has not happened yet…the love. Somehow when S and I read that it was a blueberry, we became incredibly attached. We like fruit.

We started loving it yesterday, even though we might just be loving the ‘idea’ of it if it is not growing. Also S’s tummy kinda popped out a little yesterday. Rather suddenly. And that made us love it even more.

Today, my self protection is marching in to guard my heart. Little armies are constructing walls and moats and boiling the oil to pour on anyone who gets too close. Three days until the next ultrasound, but you won’t find any funny tickers this time.

I’m am so glad to log on and read this amazing news. You are having a blueberry and not only is that delicious, but VERY good for your body.
Can’t wait to hear how the 8 week ultrasound goes.

I’m glad that you posted about Dr. PSS. I think under the circumstances, you are ok to ask a lot of quesitons and freak out about the answers 🙂

As much as I love the imagery of the little army and little moat, I understand what you mean completely about the guard up. Here’s to blueberries and pregnancies and guards being crushed down by love and ultrasounds 🙂

I hope that blueberry grows ginourmous and soon you’ve got a Violet situation from Willy Wonka…only instead of S turning into a blueberry she will just be beautiful & large with baby.

& lawd yes- do I get the need for the protective army.
Sending lots of love your way.
    xoxo
